While Juntero's first sales were mostly one-off graphic design gigs, the company soon attracted bigger projects, like floor plans for small businesses. By the end of 2021, Juntero had garnered $55,000 in revenue. Getting started: 'I've always been a hustler'In early 2021, Okwulehie had just given birth to her daughter and was looking to secure more income for her family. With Juntero, however, she's able to do more design work for residential projects.

College campuses have always been bastions of protest, where young, energetic students push older generations in the direction of the next social or political reform. Notably, the prevailing notions of the liberal bent of college campuses are not incorrect. According to a 2023 survey by FIRE of roughly 1,500 four-year college professors, 50% identify as liberal, 17% as moderate, and 26% as conservative. Analysts say the recent inflammatory examples that have not only riven college campuses but altered the way many Americans view them also underscore the increasing difficulty observers in the U.S. have of sitting with complex developments. Many of the country’s most elite schools actually perform the worst, according to the 2024 College Free Speech Ranking by FIRE.

Lyft's app will now feature ads when a user is booking a ride and during the trip. Its main competitor, Uber, launched video ads on several of its apps back in June. "Lifestyle" is based on locations users "like to visit such as sports games, restaurants, gyms, etc," a spokesperson for Lyft told Insider in an email. All riders will see ads on the app, but they have the option to reject sharing "their behavioral and demographic data," the Lyft spokesperson said. Greenberger told the Journal that Lyft also intends on incorporating video ads on its app before year's end.

Lyft ad revenue increased “nearly seven times” in the fourth quarter compared with the previous quarter, according to Mr. Greenberger.
